Job Description
Advantia Health is seeking a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner with solid gyn experience and antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum experience that includes patients with varying medical conditions. We are looking for someone that possesses a strong team spirit.

Job Responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
- Develops and implements patient management policies and procedures.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care.
Qualifications
- Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
- Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
- DEA and CDS eligible.
- 3+ years’ experience as a NP preferred.
Nurse practitioner license in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D. C. preferred.
Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D. C. preferred.
