Job Description

Under the direction of the Manager and Supervisor and in association with the radiologists, the technologist conducts themselves in a professional manner, responding to patient needs and supporting their colleagues and associates in providing quality patient care. The technologist performs services in accordance to an accepted standard of practice and demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to the patient, self and other members of the health care team.

Qualifications

Education: - Post High School Special Training - Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Licensure/Certification/Registration: - State of FL Certified Radiologic Technologist license - ARRT - BLS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required: - Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

The technologist performs radiology services while maintaining professional standards and supporting patient needs. They are responsible for minimizing radiation exposure to patients and the healthcare team.
