THIS POSITION IS LOCATED ONSITE IN TALLAHASSEE FLORIDA. THIS IS NOT A REMOTE POSITION.
Bracane Company is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist for an anticipated full time federal healthcare assignment in Tallahassee, Florida.
The Radiologic Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging services in an onsite institutional healthcare environment. This position requires an experienced imaging professional who can safely operate radiographic equipment, properly position patients, produce diagnostic quality images, maintain accurate records, and follow applicable clinical and radiation safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform authorized diagnostic radiographic procedures.
- Position patients and imaging equipment appropriately for diagnostic studies.
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively.
- Produce diagnostic quality images in accordance with established procedures.
- Follow radiation protection and safety requirements for patients, staff, and others in the clinical environment.
- Verify patient identity and the requested imaging procedure before examinations.
- Maintain accurate imaging and patient documentation.
- Prepare imaging rooms, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
- Assist patients before, during, and after imaging procedures.
- Maintain appropriate infection control and patient safety procedures.
- Monitor equipment condition and report operational or safety concerns.
- Protect confidential patient and healthcare information.
- Follow applicable clinical, safety, security, and facility procedures.
- Schedule and Work Location
This position is onsite in Tallahassee, Florida.
The anticipated schedule is Monday through Friday, generally 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, for up to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications
Candidates Must Meet the Following Requirements
- Minimum of two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Graduate of an approved radiologic technology training program.
- Current unrestricted state radiologic technologist license.
- Current registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to safely operate diagnostic imaging equipment and follow radiation safety procedures.
- Ability to maintain accurate patient and imaging records.
- Ability to successfully complete required background, security, and facility access screening.
- Ability to work onsite in Tallahassee, Florida.
Compensation
$35.00 to $43.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
