Part-Time Telemedicine Physician – General Practice / Wound Care

NIVA Health is seeking an experienced and collaborative General Practice/Wound Care Physician (MD/DO) for a flexible, 100% telemedicine opportunity.

This position is designed for a physician looking for meaningful clinical involvement and supplemental income without the commitment of a traditional full-time schedule. Physicians may work one or two days per week, with flexibility to select days based on availability and NIVA Health's patient and operational needs.

• Candidates must reside in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia.
• Compensation & Schedule
• 1 day per week – $1,200/week
• Approximately $62,400 annually if worked 52 weeks.
• 2 days per week – $2,200/week
• Approximately $114,400 annually if worked 52 weeks.
• This is a remote, telemedicine-only position with no routine travel requirement.

What You'll Do

In this role, you will partner with NIVA Health's clinical leadership and advanced practice providers to support high-quality patient care remotely. Responsibilities may include:

• Provide telemedicine physician services as scheduled.
• Provide general practice and wound care clinical consultation and physician oversight, as appropriate.
• Serve as a supervising/collaborating physician for designated advanced practice providers, as assigned and in accordance with applicable requirements.
• Review and sign clinical documentation when required.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to NPs, PAs, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Support clinical quality, continuity of care, and adherence to NIVA Health clinical standards.
• Collaborate with clinical leadership regarding patient care and provider needs.
• Maintain all licenses, credentials, and professional requirements applicable to the services performed.

What We're Looking For

Candidates must have an MD or DO degree, maintain an active medical license in good standing, and meet all credentialing requirements applicable to the services performed.

Candidates must reside in South Carolina, North Carolina, or Georgia.

Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: general practice, primary care, wound care, post-acute care, geriatrics, skilled nursing, home-based medicine, telemedicine, or supervision/collaboration with advanced practice providers.

We are especially interested in physicians who are comfortable working collaboratively with advanced practice providers and supporting a growing clinical team in a virtual environment.
