NIVA Health is seeking an experienced and collaborative General Practice/Wound Care Physician (MD/DO) to provide in-person patient care in Tarboro, North Carolina every Tuesday.

This is an excellent opportunity for a physician seeking a predictable, part-time schedule while remaining clinically engaged. The position requires a commitment to work on-site in Tarboro every Tuesday. This is not a telemedicine position, and Tuesday availability is required.

• Compensation & Schedule
• Every Tuesday – $1,200 per week
• Approximately $62,400 annually if worked 52 weeks.
• Schedule: One day per week – Tuesdays
• Location: Tarboro, North Carolina
• Work Arrangement: 100% in-person
• Candidates must be able to consistently commit to the Tuesday schedule.

What You'll Do

As a part-time physician with NIVA Health, you will work directly with our clinical team to provide high-quality care to patients in the Tarboro area. Responsibilities may include:

• Provide in-person general practice and wound care physician services every Tuesday.
• Evaluate patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Provide physician-level wound assessment, treatment, and clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with NPs, PAs, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide clinical consultation and physician oversight as appropriate.
• Review and complete required clinical documentation accurately and timely.
• Support continuity of care and adherence to NIVA Health's clinical standards.
• Coordinate with clinical leadership regarding patient needs and changes in condition.
• Maintain all required licenses, credentials, and professional requirements applicable to the position.

What We're Looking For

Candidates must have an MD or DO degree, maintain an active North Carolina medical license in good standing, or meet NIVA Health's requirements to obtain the necessary licensure before providing patient care.

Candidates Must Also

• Be available to work in person in Tarboro, North Carolina every Tuesday.
• Meet applicable credentialing requirements.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

Experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: wound care, general practice, primary care, post-acute care, geriatrics, skilled nursing, home-based medicine, or a related clinical setting.
