This opportunity is open to both new graduates and experienced professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional eye care and making a meaningful difference in the community.

Why Join Us?

Founded in 2004, Grass Valley Eyecare Optometric, Inc. is a nine-employee, full-scope family eye care practice, dedicated to protecting and enhancing the gift of sight.

For more than 20 years, the practice has served the surrounding foothill communities with compassionate, respectful care, comprehensive eye examinations, and a strong focus on prevention and long-term vision wellness.

Its services include glaucoma treatment, dry eye and other ocular disease management, cataract and refractive postoperative care, contact lens fitting and evaluation, and diabetic retinal screenings.

Patients also benefit from a wide selection of contact lenses, ophthalmic frames, and sunglasses in styles, brands, and colors suited to a variety of needs.

Who You Are

You hold a Doctor of Optometry degree and an active California State Board of Optometry license in good standing, along with TPA and glaucoma certification.

Ideally, you bring one to three years of clinical practice experience and current knowledge of optometric technology, therapeutic management guidelines, and patient care practices.

You also demonstrate strong diagnostic, patient management, leadership, and organizational skills, supported by sound business judgment, self-discipline, and a commitment to exceptional patient service.

As a trusted member of the eye care team, you exercise discretion and independent judgment in carrying out your responsibilities.
