What You Will Do: The NNP and/or NICU experienced PA manage critically ill neonatal patients using collaboration, consultation and direct care. Independent practice of NNPs occurs in the specialized NICU at our newly implemented couplet care birthing unit at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital.

The NNP/PA manages critically ill neonatal patients through direct care, collaboration, and consultation within the NICU. They also provide procedural support for infant code blues and contribute to the education of staff and students.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree and a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in the State of Wisconsin. BLS and NRP certifications are required upon hire, and NICU experience is preferred.
