Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, small bowel biopsy, etc.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient GI consultations.
- Manage GI patients in hospital setting, averaging 12-15 procedures per day.
- Participate in call schedule covering nights and weekends.
- Collaborate with a team of 13 GI physicians.
Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of gastrointestinal procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and biopsies while managing inpatient and outpatient consultations. Participate in a call schedule covering nights and weekends to support a team of 13 physicians.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified in Gastroenterology with an active Illinois medical license and DEA registration. Proficiency in standard GI procedures and the ability to work within an EPIC EMR system are required.
