Job Description
Healthcare United is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician to join an established, growing digestive health practice in northwestern Pennsylvania’s Lake Erie region, near Harborcreek. This full-time, permanent position offers a hospital-employed setting, substantial clinical support, and opportunities to expand your procedural skills within a collaborative gastroenterology team.
The practice cares for adults and adolescents ages 12 and older and includes five physicians, thirteen advanced practice providers, and a support staff of 35. Physicians have access to advanced endoscopic technology, an ASGE-designated Center of Excellence GI lab, and an in-house infusion suite accommodating up to ten patients.
The anticipated clinical mix is approximately 80% inpatient care and procedures and 20% office-based care. Services include colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, BRAVO testing, capsule endoscopy, radiofrequency therapies, infusion therapy, and hepatitis C treatment. ERCP experience is preferred but not required, with mentorship available. Physicians rotate call one week every five to six weeks, with coverage of two nights during the assigned call week.

Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
- American Board Eligible, American Board Certified, or Canadian Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
- Broad gastroenterology skills and willingness to learn new techniques and procedures.
ERCP experience preferred; not required. Mentorship is available.
- Ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license and necessary credentials.
- DEA certification.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and strong interpersonal skills.
