Job Description
Carle Health is seeking a BE/BC Critical Care Physician Nocturnist to join our expanding Critical Care team in Urbana, Illinois.
Opportunity Details
- Join an established Critical Care team of 16 physicians and 8 Advanced Practice Providers
- Part-time (0.5 FTE) position working 7 – 8 shifts per month
- Nocturnist schedule of 5P to 7A or 9P to 7A
- Practice at Carle Foundation Hospital, a 509-bed Level I Trauma Center with a closed ICU (40 beds)

Compensation and Benefits
The compensation range for this position is $300,000-$315,000. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health.
The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model. Key Responsibilities
Provide critical care services as a nocturnist at a Level I Trauma Center, working 7-8 shifts per month. Participate in academic, teaching, and research activities through the affiliated medical school.
Requirements
Must be a Board Eligible or Board Certified Critical Care Physician. Candidates must be available for night shifts and rotation requirements.
