Opening for an anesthesiologist to join nationally recognized Christiana Care, Union Hospital. Earning national accolades for clinical excellence, Christiana Care, Union Hospital is a nonprofit community hospital based in Elkton, MD.
Licensed for 75 beds, this innovative facility combines the latest technology and a supportive atmosphere to offer advanced, effective care for treating and preventing disease.
Building on its 110-year history of service, the full-service hospital is committed to providing the people of Cecil County, MD, and neighboring communities in southern Pennsylvania and Delaware with high-quality, personalized healthcare.

Case Assignments
- Schedule: 4 day work week
- General surgery, urology, and endo
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
