Physician - Vascular & Pain Medicine

SCHEDULE

  • Full-Time
  • 40 Hours per Week
  • 4-Day and 5-Day Options
  • Monday to Friday

COMPENSATION

  • $450,000 to $750,000+ Annual Income
  • $250,000 to $350,000+ Base Salary, negotiable based on experience

COMPANY PROFILE

This physician-owned-and-led private practice opened in 2015 and offers a full scope of pain medicine and vein disease services in a comfortable, boutique setting focused on excellent patient experiences. Being owned and operated entirely by board certified physicians, their offices offer providers the day-to-day autonomy of working in a private practice setting, while receiving the support of a larger infrastructure. With a talented team of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, they operate nearly 50 offices in 6 states.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Physicians see an average of 20 to 25 patients per day with the support of on-site sonographers and clinical assistants, who also help with charting and documentation.

Specific duties of the role include

  • consultations
  • follow-up visits
  • development of treatment plans
  • joint, musculoskeletal, and pain interventions
  • radiofrequency ablation
  • sclerotherapy
  • laser ablation
  • VenaSeal
  • ClariVein

The practice sees patients for, among other conditions

  • pain and musculoskeletal conditions
  • restless leg syndrome
  • venous insufficiency
  • leg swelling / heaviness
  • varicose veins
  • spider veins

The practice uses the NextTech EHR and is an all-digital environment with state-of-the-art equipment.

The practice is seeking an experienced pain physician who is interested in learning vascular procedures. Full training in vein procedures will be provided in the Bethesda office.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Maryland medical license
  • DEA
  • Board Certified or Eligible, relevant field
  • experience and/or training in pain management
  • proficiency in standard pain medicine procedures
  • interest and ability to learn vein procedures
