Job Description

Northwestern Medicine is actively recruiting a full-time pathologist. This is an outstanding opportunity to build your career with the premier healthcare system in the Northwestern suburbs of Chicago.

Full-time employed position with Northwestern Medical Group with hospital privileges at NM McHenry Hospital and NM Huntley Hospital.

Competitive Compensation Package and Excellent Benefits

General duties include but not limited to: general surgical pathology with frozen sections, cytopathology with immediate FNA assessments, hematopathology (bone marrows and lymph node), AP/CP call, administrative, educational and operational committee duties.

Qualifications

  • Required: AP/CP board certified pathologist
  • Preferred: Subspecialty training or expertise in breast/gynecologic pathology or hematopathology
  • Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in the state of Illinois
