Family Medicine / Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Physician
- Location: Houston, TX
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Schedule: Outpatient | Monday–Friday
- Compensation: $200,000–$300,000+ base salary, plus sign-on bonus and potential incentive opportunities

What You'll Do
Comprehensive Primary Care
- Provide outpatient primary care services within the scope of Family Medicine or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct annual wellness visits, preventive screenings, routine physicals, and follow-up appointments.
- Develop individualized treatment plans focused on prevention, disease management, and long-term health outcomes.
Patient Education & Preventive Care
- Educate patients on preventive health, lifestyle modifications, and chronic disease management.
- Encourage continuity of care through proactive follow-up and patient engagement.
- Build trusted relationships with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.
Care Coordination & Collaboration
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers, Care Managers, Behavioral Health professionals, and specialty teams.
- Coordinate referrals, diagnostic services, and follow-up care.
- Participate in a team-based care model designed to improve access, quality, and patient outcomes.
Clinical Documentation & Quality
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Comply with applicable clinical, regulatory, and professional standards.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, preventive care measures, and value-based care programs.
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
- Family Medicine, or
- Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds).
- Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one before starting.
- DEA registration and applicable controlled substance authorization, or ability to obtain them as required.
- Commitment to high-quality, patient-centered care and effective communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin or Spanish is strongly preferred, but not required.
- Experience serving diverse or underserved patient populations.
- Experience in outpatient primary care.
- Familiarity with value-based care, population health, or chronic disease management.
