Job Description
Seeking a Physician Assistant to join the internal medicine team for the Georgian Medical Group located at Mayfield, Oh. The schedule is Mon-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
A Brief Overview
The Advanced Practice Provider is responsible for providing quality care for patients and increasing patient access and satisfaction. Standard tasks to be performed by a Nurse Practitioner as specified by the Ohio State Nursing Board and UH entity specific Medical Bylaws

Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
Education
- Master's Degree from an accredited PA educational program (Required)
- (MSN) Master's Degree in Nursing (Required)
- Experience Qualifications
- 1+ years as a Physician Assistant (Preferred)
- Skills, & Abilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills. (Required proficiency)
- Demonstrated skills in interpersonal relationships. (Required proficiency)
- Computer skills to access patient medical data from UHHS mainframe. (Required proficiency)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Required proficiency)
- Licenses and Certifications
Physician Assistant
- Physician Assistant (PA) (Required) and
- Basic Life Support (BLS) (Required) and
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (Preferred)
- Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (Required) and
- Practice with a supervising physician (Required Upon Hire) and
- Maintain national PA Certification (Required)

Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree from an accredited PA program and possess a valid Physician Assistant license. At least one year of experience is preferred, along with BLS certification and proficiency in medical data systems.
