Job Description
JOB TITLE: Physician Assistant
General Summary of Duties
The Physician Assistant will be a key individual to our practice in providing
exceptional care to our patients. The individual that fills this role will
assist the surgeon during the surgery which includes the closing of the
incision. This opportunity includes working with our surgeons assisting with
joint replacement surgeries. The center is open Monday through Friday's no call,
holiday's, or weekends. All activities must be conducted in a confidential,
professional and personable manner. Performs other duties as needed.
The ideal candidate is someone who is hard working, eager to learn, very
dependable, and has ability to multi-task, and lead.
Requirements
* Graduate of a Physician assistant program required, and non-restricted DEA
for the state of OH.
* BLS/CPR certification preferred.
* 3-5 years' work experience required. Experience with spine surgery is
preferable.
* Able to read; write legibly; speak in English, with professional quality; use
computer and software programs necessary to the position; troubleshoot and
calibrate patient care equipment.
* Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the
telephone; think critically; work independently with minimal supervision;
perform basic math functions; manage multiple assignments effectively; work
well under pressure; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall
information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail.
* Able to perform any other tasks as assigned.

The Physician Assistant will assist surgeons during joint replacement procedures, including the closing of incisions. They are responsible for providing exceptional patient care while maintaining professional and confidential standards.
