Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients in a community hospital setting
- Respond to codes and rapid responses
- Manage ventilator patients and step-down level patients
- Collaborate with NP, ED team, surgeons, and case management
- Participate in weekend coverage as part of the schedule
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult patients, including managing ventilator and step-down level patients. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, including NPs, surgeons, and case management, while responding to codes and rapid responses.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with an active Vermont license or willingness to obtain one. A minimum of 1-2 years of hospitalist or comparable inpatient adult medicine experience is required, along with active BLS and ACLS certifications.
