Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide shift-based coverage in Level II Trauma center for Trauma and Emergency General Surgery.
- Rotating weekly clinic coverage (1 day/week).
- Provide ICU coverage.
- Perform surgical and outpatient follow-ups in clinic.
- Participate in teaching and resident rotation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide night-shift coverage for trauma and emergency general surgery at a Level II trauma center, including ICU coverage. Provide weekly clinic coverage, perform surgical and outpatient follow-ups, and participate in teaching and resident rotations.
Requirements
Candidates must be board certified, have an active Iowa license or IMLC, and be fellowship trained in critical care. A clean record is required.
