Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for neurosurgical emergencies
- Perform general neurosurgery including trauma, tumors, and spinal surgery with and without instrumentation.
- Place ICP monitors and apply external traction as needed.
- Consult on adult patients with neurosurgical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 24-hour beeper call coverage for neurosurgical emergencies and perform general neurosurgical procedures including trauma, tumors, and spinal surgery. Consult on adult patients and manage necessary medical equipment such as ICP monitors and external traction.
Requirements
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with an active California medical license and DEA certification. A minimum of 2 years of current hospital clinical experience in neurosurgery is required.
