About the Opportunity
Gastro Health is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join our private practice team in Reston, Virginia. Our APPs play an active part in delivering high-quality GI care by coordinating individualized treatment plans under physician supervision and engaging in clinical responsibilities that help drive high-quality, patient-centered care.
We welcome APPs who want to grow their expertise in gastroenterology within a practice model that values clinical autonomy, work-life balance, and long-term career growth. - Work collaboratively with a team of 9 gastroenterologists and 5 APP's
- Monday through Friday schedule: 8am-4pm
- Average 14-16 patient encounters per day
- Outpatient consults and follow-ups

Candidate Requirements
- Active Physician Assistant license in the state of Virginia
- National certification as a PA with prescriptive authority
- 1 plus years of experience
- GI experience preferred
- Spanish Speaking preferred

Key Responsibilities
The Physician Assistant will coordinate individualized treatment plans for gastroenterology patients under physician supervision. They will conduct outpatient consults and follow-ups while collaborating with a team of gastroenterologists and other APPs.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active Physician Assistant license in Virginia and national certification with prescriptive authority. A minimum of one year of experience is required, with preference given to those with a background in gastroenterology.
