Baptist Medical Center is looking to add a Clinical Dietitian II to our Pediatric Keto program team at Baptist Downtown, located in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time (32/hr week) opportunity with shifts taking place Monday-Friday from 8:00-4:30.

  • As the Clinical Dietitian II, you will be responsible for:
  • Assuring patients receiving appropriate nutrition
  • Implementing and maintaining plan of care for TF and TPN patients
  • Providing education to inpatients and/or significant others, staff, civic organizations, and approved community events
  • Communicating well with multidisciplinary staff
  • Promoting a caring and supportive work environment
  • Performing other functions as assigned
  • Improving and maintaining department quality results
  • This position will have options for coverage at all Baptist Health hospital locations
  • Developing personal goals

Experience Requirements

1-2 years Clinical Inpatient Nutrition Care Experience

Education & Credential Requirements

  • Registered Dietitian (RD) Required
  • Licensed Dietitian Required
  • Bachelor of Science - Required
  • Master of Science - Preferred

Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Dietitian II is responsible for implementing nutrition plans for pediatric patients and providing education to patients, families, and staff. They will also contribute to department quality results and maintain a supportive work environment across Baptist Health locations.

Requirements

Candidates must have 1-2 years of clinical inpatient nutrition experience and hold a Registered Dietitian (RD) license. A Bachelor of Science degree is required, while a Master of Science is preferred.
