Nutrition Consultation Specialist (Dietitian / Nutritionist)

About the Role

Black Girl Vitamins is looking for an engaging, culturally aligned Registered Dietitian (RD) or Certified Nutritionist (CN) to serve as an educational face for our community and provide direct support to our customers. In this dual-role, you will build trust through 1-on-1 micro-consultations, weekly public live-streaming and customer webinars —translating nutritional science around Black health disparities, vitamin deficiencies, and holistic wellness into accessible, relatable guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• 1-on-1 Virtual Consultations:

• Provide complimentary 15-minute 1-on-1 virtual consultation sessions to Black Girl Vitamins customers.

• Maintain daily scheduling availability (approx. 2–3 dedicated hours per day via a provided Google Calendar/Scheduling link) to review customer goals, answer supplement questions, and offer tailored wellness advice.

• Additional

• Educational Programming: Host 1 interactive monthly or bi-weekly educational webinar for customers covering key wellness topics (e. g., Vitamin D deficiency, gut health, hormonal balance, reproductive health).

• Live Social Content: Host 1 weekly TikTok Live session (~30–45 minutes) answering live audience questions, busting wellness myths, and explaining supplement science in an entertaining, digestible format.

• Content Preparation & Strategy: Outline weekly discussion topics, Q&As, and slide decks or key takeaways for community events in collaboration with the marketing team.

• Brand Advocacy: Serve as an expert voice to ensure messaging aligns with evidence-based nutritional standards while remaining relatable and culturally nuanced.

Qualifications

• Credentials: Registered Dietitian (RD / RDN) or Certified Nutritionist (MS/PhD in Clinical Nutrition or relevant state licensure).

• On-Camera & Counseling Presence: Strong experience hosting live streams/short-form video alongside proven experience conducting 1-on-1 client assessments or counseling.

• Tech Savvy: Comfortable managing calendar availability and client bookings through Google Calendar / Google Scheduling.

• Communication Style: Ability to break down complex medical/clinical data into engaging, everyday language tailored to Black women's health needs in both public and 1-on-1 settings.

• Product Knowledge: Familiarity with dietary supplements, micronutrient bioavailability, and general wellness practices.

Compensation & Pay Structure

With the added scope of daily 1-on-1 consultations (~10–15 hours/week for client sessions + ~3–5 hours/week for group webinars, live streams, and preparation), contract rates reflect a total commitment of 15–20 hours per week.

• 1-on-1 Consultations (10–15 hrs/week): $45 – $60 per hour.

• TikTok Live Sessions (30–45 mins + prep): $150 – $250 per session.

• Customer Webinars (60 mins + slide preparation): $250 – $400 per webinar.
