The physician will provide comprehensive inpatient palliative consultations for patients with serious illnesses, managing complex symptoms and facilitating goals-of-care discussions. They will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners and hospitalists, to guide treatment decisions and provide emotional support to patients and families.
Candidates must hold an MD or DO degree with an active Arizona medical license and have completed a fellowship in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Board certification or eligibility in Hospice and Palliative Medicine is also required.
