Job Description

Position Overview

To provide the highest quality clinical care in the service areas of assessment, diagnosis, treatment plans, group therapy, individual therapy, discharge and aftercare planning. Mental Health Counselors also participate in case management and clinical team case review process to ensure improved and long term plans for enhanced functioning socially, vocationally and personally in keeping with patient treatment recovery plan.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling and possess a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor credential or a Limited Permit. An understanding of the disease of addiction is preferred.
