Speech Language Pathologist, Acute Care, located in Laconia, New Hampshire, starting 11/02/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech-language pathology evaluations and provide ongoing therapy for patients in the skilled nursing setting, addressing communication and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; document progress in the patient record.
• Perform bedside swallow evaluations, manage dysphagia, and screen for aspiration risk; coordinate with nursing staff and dietitians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support discharge planning and patient goals; communicate with families as appropriate.
• Monitor patient response to therapy, adjust goals and frequency as needed, and prepare progress notes and reports.

Requirements

• Active NH state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist or eligibility to obtain licensure
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• 1+ year of experience in speech-language pathology is preferred, with exposure to acute care or skilled nursing settings recommended
• Ability to work a 35-hour week in a day shift (08:00–16:30) and adapt to facility guidelines
• Proficiency with documentation in an electronic medical record and clinical charting
• Willingness to participate in a travel assignment and travel to the assignment location
