The Occupational Therapist assesses patients to design and implement personalized treatment programs that help individuals recover or maintain functional, cognitive, and behavioral abilities. They also document patient progress, educate families and patients, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
Candidates must hold the appropriate education level and state licensure as an Occupational Therapist. Additionally, they are required to obtain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 60 days of employment.
