Clinical Nutritionist - Registered Dietitian - Cornell - Inpatient Units - Full Time - Day Shift

As a Clinical Dietitian, you will provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and/or caregivers based on assessment of individual needs in the inpatient setting.

In this role, you will develop nutrition treatment programs to ensure optimal nutritional care for a diverse patient population while recognizing the unique cultural, clinical, and individual needs that influence nutrition outcomes.

In addition, you will participate in patient care rounds, performance improvement programs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and perform other related duties as assigned.

This is a full time, day shift position.

  • Preferred Criteria
  • Master’s Degree
  • 1 year of acute care experience

Required Criteria

  • Minimum of a Baccalaureate Degree granted by a U.S. regionally accredited college/university or foreign equivalent
  • Completion of an ACEND accredited/approved Supervised Practice Program in Dietetics
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) within 6 months

Certification by the State of New York as a Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist NYS certification within 12 months

$89,900-$107,880/Annual
