Position Summary

As a school occupational therapist, you will play a critical role in promoting the development of fine motor skills, sensory processing abilities, and overall independence in school-aged children.

Responsibilities Include

  • Assessing children's functional abilities
  • Development of individualized intervention
  • Therapy implementation
  • Environmental modifications
  • Session documentation and progress monitoring
  • Collaboration with parents, teachers and other professionals

Qualifications

  • Valid state license to practice occupational therapy
  • Graduate degree or greater in Occupational Therapy
  • Access to personal transportation is a plus

Key Responsibilities

The occupational therapist will assess students' functional abilities and develop individualized intervention plans to promote fine motor skills and sensory processing. They are also responsible for implementing therapy, documenting progress, and collaborating with parents and educators.
