Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care for 12-15 patients per day.
- Manage patient treatment plans and coordinate with three established permanent providers.
- Participate in call coverage via telephone for established patients, averaging 2-5 calls per week.
- Collaborate with support staff including RNs, PA/NPs, and office staff.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Aria EMR system.
Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient hematology and oncology care for 12-15 patients per day while managing treatment plans. Coordinate with permanent providers and participate in telephone call coverage for established patients.
Requirements
Must be a Board Certified or Board Eligible physician with a valid Virginia medical license. Requires BLS and ACLS certifications and completion of a fellowship program.
