Job Type: Full-Time
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to join our nursing home leadership team. This role is ideal for a compassionate and qualified Registered Nurse (RN) with strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional resident care.
Major Responsibilities
Provide ongoing education, mentorship, and leadership development to clinical management, clinicians, and other team members.
Actively participate in the development and achievement of nursing department goals, including staff development functions and educational programming.
Assist in the implementation of and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards of practice consistent with corporate and regulatory guidelines.
Recruit, hire, and retain qualified nursing staff to deliver efficient resident care in accordance with staffing plans and state-mandated requirements.
Collaborate with department heads to promote positive interdepartmental relations.
Assist in developing, implementing, and monitoring an accurate and effective documentation system.
Provide direct resident care as needed, ensuring effective interaction with residents and families.
Deliver innovative and responsible healthcare by creating and implementing new ideas and processes that improve outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications
Current, active, and unencumbered state license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
RN Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university.
Current CPR certification.
Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience in a setting serving a similar resident population.
At least one (1) year of management experience.
Comprehensive knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to nursing home operations.
