As a key member of the leadership team, the Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of the nursing department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements, promoting quality resident care, and developing a positive, accountable, and resident-centered culture.
Position Summary The Director of Nursing provides leadership, direction, and oversight for all nursing services within the organization.
This role is responsible for clinical quality, regulatory compliance, staffing, employee development, resident outcomes, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care.

Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing operations and clinical services. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including long-term care requirements. Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain nursing staff. Monitor and improve quality measures, clinical outcomes, and resident satisfaction.
Partner with department leaders to ensure coordinated, resident-centered care. Manage staffing plans, scheduling practices, and labor resources. Lead survey preparation activities and corrective action plans as needed. Oversee infection prevention, risk management, and resident safety initiatives.
Monitor nursing department budgets and resources.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of nursing leadership experience. Long-term care or senior living leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations. Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage change, and drive results. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Minimum of seven (7) years of licensed nursing experience.
Director of Nursing experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting. Experience with survey management and regulatory compliance. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN). Apply today and help lead the future of resident care at Covenant Village.
