Job Description
The Physician – Pediatric Otolaryngology performs clinical care, education and research for the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology and the Department of Surgery. The Physician – Pediatric Otolaryngology is expected to perform at a high level to provide excellent care for patients and families. The incumbent demonstrates leadership for the other members of the Otolaryngology team.
The Physician – Pediatric Otolaryngology is responsible for Care for patients in the outpatient setting, inpatient consultations, emergency call coverage, surgical care and surgical teaching, teaching of residents, fellows and other members of the staff, participation in otolaryngology meetings and patient rounds, and participation in individual or team research projects. The Physician – Otolaryngology may be required to develop a multidisciplinary clinic.

The Physician – Pediatric Otolaryngology is responsible for performing clinical care, education, and research within the Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology and the Department of Surgery. Key duties include outpatient care, inpatient consultations, emergency call coverage, surgical procedures, and teaching residents and fellows.
Requirements
Candidates must possess an MD or MB BCH degree, completion of an accredited Western Board residency program in the specialty, and a Sub-specialty Fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology or equivalent training. A maximum of two years of post-board certification or fellowship experience is required.
