General Pediatrician - Coastal Kids Riverwalk

Coastal Kids, in partnership with Pediatric Associates Family of Companies, is seeking a Full-Time Pediatrician to join our practice in Bakersfield, California. This position is based out of the Bakersfield office with occasional travel to sister clinics close by.

Position Overview

Full-Time Outpatient Pediatrician Opportunity

• Monday through Friday 8-5 OR Monday through Thursday 10-8.
• Clinic hours are flexible
• Optional Saturdays or weekday extended hours

Education, Licensure & Certification

M.D. or D.O. degree required

Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics

• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of California
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of California
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required

The expected base salary range for this position, located in Bakersfield, CA is $290,000-$310,000 for physicians. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range.

Pediatric Associates offers are based on several factors including but not limited to the candidate’s education, work experience, and certifications, all of which are dependent on the requirements of the specific role.
