Consultant Clinical Scientist or Physician - Microbiology and Virology

We are seeking a Consultant Clinical Scientist in Clinical Microbiology or Virology OR a Physician Clinical Microbiologist to join a great team that is made up of individuals who have already identified the work satisfaction and quality of life that is to be enjoyed by pioneering the delivery of a new laboratory service in a country that is so welcoming.

Having fully opened 24/7 in 2018 it now has over 50 services for inpatient, outpatient, and emergency treatment. These include tertiary services such as paediatric cardiac surgery, renal transplantation surgery and treatment of patients with metabolic diseases.

In order to support developments such as these, the Department of Pathology is continuing to expand the repertoire of testing it provides. In relation to Clinical Biochemistry, this includes specialist paediatric analyses using the latest technologies.
