Key Responsibilities

• Under the guidance of library staff, lead campers in various aspects of Camp Read-a-Rama including but not limited to planning, preparation, and implementation of activities, crafts, games and music for camp as assigned.

• Assist in setup and clean up/teardown of activities and spaces.

• Support library staff with the safety and well-being of camp participants. Including following camp safety guidelines, and working with camp participants who are feeling unsure, navigating interpersonal conflict, or other needs.

Requirements

• Energetic and enthusiastic about libraries and working with youth.

• Ability to work collaboratively with others and positively interact with customers.

• Open to trying new things and creatively solving problems.

• Must arrive on time for scheduled shifts.

Benefits & Compensation

• Pay rate: $20/hr.

• Part-Time position.
