Virtual SLP Supervisor (Pediatric Therapy)

About the Role

Little Land Pediatric Therapy & Play Gym is looking for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide virtual clinical supervision to our Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs). This is a remote, contract role: you will not be treating clients directly, but you will be the clinical authority behind the SLPAs who are, ensuring their work meets the standard our families and our license depend on.

You will work closely with our Director of Speech Therapy to support SLPAs across our clinics, reviewing their documentation, co-signing treatment plans and notes as required, and meeting with them on a regular cadence. This role is fully remote and built around flexible, as-needed hours.

Key Responsibilities

Provide required direct and indirect supervision to SLPAs in line with Texas licensing board and ASHA supervision requirements

Review and co-sign SLPA documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and evaluations, for clinical accuracy and compliance

Hold regular virtual supervision meetings with each SLPA to review caseload, answer clinical questions, and provide coaching

Monitor SLPA caseloads remotely to confirm treatment approaches remain appropriate and aligned with each client's plan of care

• Flag any clinical, documentation, or compliance concerns to the Director of Speech Therapy promptly
• Maintain accurate supervision logs and records in line with state and payer requirements

What We're Looking For

• Active, unencumbered Texas SLP license
• Experience supervising SLPAs, including familiarity with Texas supervision ratio and documentation requirements
• Comfort providing supervision entirely through virtual tools, video, and remote chart review
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, since most of this role happens without being in the same room
• Pediatric clinical background preferred
• Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working independently on a contract basis

Position Details

• Engagement Type Independent contractor (1099), not a benefits-eligible employee position
• Hours Flexible, as-needed based on SLPA caseload and supervision requirements
• Location Fully remote; must hold an active Texas SLP license
• Reports To Director of Speech Therapy
• Salary: 45 - 60 USD Per hour
