Job Details: Job Location: ICE Health Services Corps Florence, AZ - Florence, AZ, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Psychologists Needed at IHSC, Florence, AZ Wander Staffing is seeking one (1) Psychologist to serve as a Behavioral Health Provider (BHP) for ICE Health Services Corps (IHSC) in Florence, AZ.

LOCATION 3250 North Pinal Parkway, Florence, AZ 85132 COMPENSATION Rate: $83.05 W2 position SCHEDULE Orientation: first 4-6 weeks, until trainings are completed. 4-10s can be worked during orientation Can work either 5-8s or 4-10s Flexibility with scheduling is required.

Must rotate weekends and holidays No on-call CONTRACT DETAILS Ongoing contract through 2032 Note: The duration of the contract is between the government and Wander Staffing. As with any position, if life requires you to leave, please provide a 60-day notice.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS Doctoral Degree in Psychology from an APA-accredited graduate program Minimum one (1) year of clinical practice as a clinical psychologist at the licensed independent level.

Candidates with 8-11 months may be considered for a waiver Full, current, and unrestricted doctoral-level psychology license in Arizona Must meet the requirements for the National Registry of Psychologist Providers (if graduated after 1 January 1982), and for Health Service Psychologist/Provider under state statute (if doctorate received before 1 January 1992) BLS (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (Permanent Resident Card, I-551) Must pass the DHS background investigation and be privileged by IHSC Able to communicate proficiently in English and/or Spanish Preferred (not required): experience in a detention/correctional or residential healthcare setting, and experience implementing a new mental health treatment program and/or a Modified Therapeutic Community treatment model DUTIES Provide psychological assessments, evaluations, and testing, plus individual and group therapy and case management for detainees, including programming within a Modified Therapeutic Community model Provide direction and oversight to a multidisciplinary team, including behavioral health technicians and interns Refer cases of extremely severe mental disturbance to outside facilities, and evaluate significant mental illness using the Mental Health Review Form (IHSC-883) Help orient medical staff on detoxification of chemically dependent individuals, and report to the prescriber if expected drug therapy outcomes are not being achieved Consult with medical, ICE, and contract staff on risk assessment and housing recommendations for difficult or mentally ill persons Serve as the suicide prevention program coordinator when the Supervisory BHP is absent Train ICE and medical staff on mental health topics, including suicide prevention, hunger strikes, abuse and neglect, and victims of torture Coordinate placements, aftercare, and continuity of care with the HQ Behavioral Health Unit, including Post Order Custody Reviews (POCR) May provide telehealth for patients at other IHSC facilities (only in states where you are licensed) May respond to, or coordinate the response to, medical emergencies PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT Must be able to respond on foot to any medical emergency in the facility within four (4) minutes and perform CPR standing or kneeling Long periods of standing and walking, including over uneven surfaces; may need to lift moderately heavy patients or equipment and help people exit the building during an emergency ABOUT THE FACILITY Small team of three (3) BHPs with a regional government supervisor Patient ratio is around 8-12 per day ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Must have a REAL ID or passport to enter the facility Additional ICE clearance is required before a site visit (approximately 1-7 days) No cell phones, weapons, or metal in the facility Security processing includes forms (the SSA-89 requires a wet signature), an NBIS e-application due within 4 days, and fingerprinting due within 5 days HOW TO APPLY Email your resume, psychology license, BLS, and doctoral diploma to Rachel McGee at Rachel.McGee@WanderStaffing.com Questions?
