Shift Details: Speech Language Pathologist to treat infants in the Special Care Nursery on an as needed basis - no set schedule or hours for this position.

Job Summary

  • This position is for a SLP with the skillset to treat infants in a special care nursery on an as needed basis.
  • FWBH is opening a Level 2 Special Care Nursery.

The Speech/Language Pathologist provides comprehensive speech therapy services to the patient by assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care and treatment programs. The therapist also participates in varied Rehabilitation Services department activities designed to enhance patient care and programs. Other duties as assigned.

Education Description

Master's degree in Speech Pathology is required.

Licensure Description

State of Wisconsin license in Speech-Language Pathology is required. Certificate of Clinical Competence (C.C.C.) as awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is required or must be obtained within 18 months of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within 3 months of hire.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in Speech Pathology and a State of Wisconsin license in Speech-Language Pathology. Candidates must have or obtain CCC certification and BLS certification within specified timeframes.
