- Grade Level: 6th–8th Grade
- Start Date: Around October 28, 2026
- Duration: Around October 28, 2026 – February 12, 2027
- Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite | 8:00 AM–2:30 PM
- Salary Range: $50–$70 per hour
About the Opportunity
AnthroMed Education is partnering with a supportive educational organization to welcome a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for an FMLA coverage position serving middle school students in grades 6–8. This onsite opportunity is expected to run from approximately October 28, 2026 through February 12, 2027.
The SLP will support students across two middle school locations, working with a mixed caseload that includes students with language, articulation, AAC, and social-pragmatic needs.
- What You’ll Do
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students in grades 6–8
- Provide services across two middle school locations
- Support students with language, articulation, AAC, and social-pragmatic needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Conduct evaluations and contribute to IEP development
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Provide strategies and recommendations to support students within the classroom
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Caseload Details
- 6th–8th grade student population
Mixed Caseload Across Two Middle School Locations
- Approximately 3.5 days per week at one middle school with a caseload of around 40 students
- Approximately 1.5 days per week at a second middle school with a caseload of around 10 students
- Students with needs in language, articulation, AAC, and social pragmatics
- Full-time FMLA coverage position
- Onsite
- Schedule: 8:00 AM–2:30 PM
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology License through the Massachusetts Board of Registration in SLP and Audiology
- Appropriate Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) certification
- Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with middle school students across a range of communication needs
