The Registered Respiratory Therapist participates in an interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, and implement comprehensive respiratory care services for patients. They are responsible for maintaining a safe environment, monitoring equipment, and integrating evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited respiratory therapy program and hold a current Georgia license as a Respiratory Care Professional. Additionally, RRT credentials from the NBRC are required, along with BLS and PALS certifications.
