Description
Opening for Chief Anesthesiologist at state-of-the-art UPMC Pinnacle Hospital conveniently located in York, PA. The new UPMC Pinnacle Memorial Hospital that opened in August 2019 is a 98-bed hospital with all private patient rooms.
This modern facility features acute and emergency medical care, cardiology and vascular services, robotics and surgical services, and much more.
With on-site space for future expansion, UPMC Memorial Hospital is continually evolving to better serve community health needs and is committed to being a sustainable choice for quality healthcare in the community. The team goes out of their way to help each and is a very friendly and family-oriented group.
Total Rewards

Case Assignments & Schedule
- Schedule: In-house call only if you reside more than 30 minutes from the hospital. Six calls per month. Post call day off.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Anesthesiology Residency
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Current medical licensure
- ECFMG/FLEX (if applicable)
