Job Summary
The University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation seeks a temporary Academic Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine physician for a per diem appointment.
The selected candidate will provide clinical care across inpatient and outpatient settings, primarily at Children's Hospital Colorado and affiliated sites within its network of care.
Responsibilities include delivering high-quality rehabilitation medicine services to pediatric patients in support of the department's clinical, educational, and patient care missions.

Key Responsibilities
- Clinical responsibilities focused on the inpatient setting including service on the inpatient rehabilitation unit and inpatient rehabilitation consultation team
- Additional clinical duties may include participating in general rehabilitation clinics and multi-disciplinary clinics
- Teaching responsibilities include participating in the education of Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine fellows, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residents, medical students, and physical therapy students
- Academic responsibilities include participation in quality improvement activities and actively pursuing and participating in other scholarly activities as well as mentoring residents and fellows
- Supports the continued growth of the department at Children’s Hospital Colorado Supports
Work Location: Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, Colorado.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
- MD/DO from an accredited institution
- Board certified/Board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Board certified/Board eligible in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 years experience in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally
- Proven ability to care for patients with high complexity, both medically and psychosocially
- Ability to work collaboratively within a rehabilitation team and develop relationships within the medical community

Anticipated Pay Range
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:
Per Diem Rate: $1,069 per clinic day
Actual lodging and airfare expenses will be reimbursed in accordance with University travel policies and procedures.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
