The Nurse Practitioner provides comprehensive direct patient care, including diagnosing illnesses and prescribing treatments for patients in the Congestive Heart Failure clinic. Additionally, they manage indirect care responsibilities such as staff education, clinical research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Licensure & Certifications

Candidates must hold a Master of Science in Nursing and be a certified Nurse Practitioner with current registration through the Alabama Board of Nursing and Board of Medical Examiners. BLS certification is required before the conclusion of the orientation period.
