Job Description

Job Title: Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)

Facility Name: Triangle Springs

Night Shift: 7pm-7am

3/12-hour shifts with a rotating weekend

How You'll Contribute

  • Assist patients with performing activities of daily living
  • Provide or assist with providing patient care, diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions
  • Observe and record patient behavior and activities
  • Report on changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to nursing staff
  • Suggest modifications to treatment plan as needed

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of behavioral health experience preferred
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • BLS Certification
  • CNA license preferred

Key Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician assists patients with daily living activities and provides direct patient care, including diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions. They are also responsible for observing, recording, and reporting changes in patient behavior or condition to the nursing staff.

Requirements

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of behavioral health experience. A BLS certification is required, and a CNA license is preferred.
