The Nurse Practitioner assesses complex acute and chronically ill patients to formulate and manage individualized plans of care. They also perform therapeutic interventions, provide patient education, and participate in scholarly activities to support the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from an approved Nurse Practitioner program and possess current licensure as an APRN and RN in Louisiana. Required certifications include BLS, with ACLS required for specific units within six months of hire.
