Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Medical NICU

Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant provides acute and critical care to neonates in a Level IV NICU, including performing therapeutic interventions and managing complex care plans. They also serve as an educational resource and mentor to the multidisciplinary team while participating in scholarly activities and quality improvement.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a Master's degree in Nursing, along with relevant state licensure and certifications. At least one year of clinical experience in the field is required, or completion of the CHOP APP Clinical Immersion Program for new graduates.
