Job Description

Job Details Jefferson Health is seeking a Hybrid Hospitalist Physician to support our New Jersey campuses, with a primary base at Washington Township and rotational coverage at Cherry Hill and Stratford. This role offers a dynamic practice environment across multiple community hospital settings, providing a diverse patient population and collaborative care experience. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive inpatient care, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and management of hospitalized patients across assigned campuses. Rotate between Washington Township, Cherry Hill, and Stratford locations to support clinical coverage needs and maintain continuity of care. Participate in patient admissions, daily rounding, and discharge planning. Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient-centered care plans. Respond to medical emergencies, including Rapid Response and Code Blue events. Ensure accurate and timely documentation using the electronic medical record (EMR) system. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocol development. Support and mentor medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers, as applicable.

Requirements

Requires an MD or DO degree with board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine. Candidates must hold an active New Jersey medical license, DEA registration, and CDS registration.
