Job Description

Reliant Healthcare Group is growing our pediatric home health therapy team and is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to support children and families throughout the Katy and Richmond areas.

This opportunity is ideal for an OT who enjoys pediatric care and is interested in a role with an emphasis on initial evaluations, re-evaluations, treatment planning, and clinical supervision of Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).

  • What You’ll Do
  • Complete comprehensive pediatric occupational therapy initial evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Assess developmental, sensory, fine motor, self-care, and functional needs
  • Develop individualized plans of care and measurable therapy goals
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and guidance to COTAs
  • Review patient progress and modify treatment plans as clinically appropriate
  • Collaborate with COTAs to ensure quality, consistency, and continuity of care
  • Provide caregiver education and recommendations to encourage carryover within the home
  • Complete required documentation accurately and within established timelines
  • Communicate with physicians, caregivers, clinical staff, and other members of the care team
  • Ensure services are provided in accordance with professional, state, payer, and company standards

Qualifications

  • Current Texas Occupational Therapist license – REQUIRED
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
  • Pediatric experience strongly preferred
  • Home health experience preferred, but not required
  • Experience completing pediatric evaluations and re-evaluations preferred
  • Experience supervising or mentoring COTAs preferred
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within the Katy and Richmond service areas

Schedule: Part-Time or Full-Time
