Job Description
Prosser Memorial Health (PMH) in Prosser, Washington seeks a full-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner at our Prosser Clinic, a Rural Health Clinic serving the Prosser community seven days a week. Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will work alongside family medicine clinicians in an integrated primary care setting.
PMH is a critical access nonprofit hospital with more than a dozen outpatient clinics dedicated to providing excellent healthcare and support services to realize our mission to improve the health of our community.
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychiatric and behavioral health evaluations for new and established patients of all ages
- Diagnose and manage mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and psychosis
- Prescribe, monitor, and adjust psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with primary care providers, therapists and nursing staff to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Participate in case conferences, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
- Serve as a resource for clinic staff education on behavioral health topics

Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health
- Current and unrestricted license as an ARNP in WA State
- DEA registration and active prescriptive authority in WA State
- ACLS certification; training provided, as needed
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic reasoning skills
- Effective interdisciplinary communication and patient education skills
- Proficiency in EMR systems and documentation standards; Epic training provided
Compensation Highlights
Three-year guaranteed salary plus incentive compensation based on productivity.
Compensation is based on MGMA and determined by skills and experience. Annual base compensation range of $155,000 - $185,000.
Medical, dental, and vision insurance covered 100% for full-time employees; low monthly premiums for spouse/children.
