The Agency seeks a psychiatrist to meet the therapeutic medical service needs of children, adolescents and adults at the Consultation Center and satellite clinics of University Settlement's licensed behavioral health program.

Responsibilities

Conduct evaluations and treatment to a population of children, adolescents, and adults Review and approve treatment plans for patients in accordance with NYS Office of Mental Health requirements Ensure necessary medical labs and follow up Monitor medication management for patients Performs crisis intervention as needed Ensure necessary medical labs and follow up Qualifications: Medical degree from an accredited medical school Current license to practice medicine in the State of New York Current DEA registration Current Board Certification in related specialty Experience in community psychiatry with children and adolescence preferred Bilingual Spanish/English or Chinese/English required Work Schedule: Full time, Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm, 35 hours per week We are committed to building a diverse and inclusive community. Key Responsibilities

The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct clinical evaluations and provide treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. They are also responsible for monitoring medication management, performing crisis interventions, and ensuring treatment plans meet regulatory requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a medical degree from an accredited school and possess a current license to practice in New York State. Additionally, current DEA registration, Board Certification, and bilingual proficiency in Spanish/English or Chinese/English are required.
